Noel Pepin
Noel Pepin

For more than twenty years Noel has been developing and refining strategies and techniques which ensure that dogs love to learn. Noel views dog training as both an Art and a Science. Noel's background as a teacher, combined with post graduate study dealing with how information is acquired and processed, has provided him with a strong understanding of the science of how animals and people learn. His involvement with thousands of dogs has provided him with the experience to know when and how to get dogs to behave. Positive reinforcement is absolutely essential, and is big part of all teaching strategies.

Noel has competed successfully in a number of dog competitions. He has trained dogs which have received High in Obedience in Canadian Kennel Club obedience trials. He has earned Tracking Dog (TD) and Tracking Dog Excellence (TDX) degrees. Noel’s current competition dog, Dhani, recently achieved the international IPO 3. His younger competition dog, Elmo, has achieved IPO 2. Noel received "High in Trial" with his dog Dusty in the international Schutzhund 1 classification. This competition required certification in Tracking, Obedience, and Protection. In addition, Noel has coached many other competitive trainers.

Noel is highly recommended by a number of veterinarians. He has worked in a Veterinary office as a behavioural consultant. Noel has helped many pet owners to cope with and modify the behaviour of their pets.
